General Festival Info
What is Skankfest?
Skankfest is a three-day comedy festival like no other. It’s part Mardi Gras, part punk rock show, and part comedy heaven—featuring stand-up, live podcasts, surprise drop-ins, tattoo artists, a vendor village, and late-night chaos. This year’s theme is Voodoo, Mardi Gras, and Vampires, and it all goes down in New Orleans, November 14–16, 2025.
Where is the festival taking place?
Skankfest 2025: NOLA will be hosted Mardi Gras World in New Orleans. Exact stage maps, addresses, and entry points will be released closer to the festival.
Who is performing?
Skankfest brings together the biggest names in stand-up, cult-favorite podcasts, and some of the best up-and-coming comics in the world.
Tickets & Entry
How do I transfer or verify a ticket to a different recipient?
Once you have a buyer/seller, go to [email protected]. Lindsay will verify the ticket and walk you through the process. Please note that tickets can not be sold for higher than face value.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets are released in limited waves and typically sell out fast. Follow our newsletter and socials for exact release dates.
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds. You may transfer your ticket through our official resale partner (link provided closer to event).
Do I need an ID to enter?
Yes. This is a 21+ event. Valid government ID is required for entry.
Are single-day passes available?
There are a limited amount of Day Passes still available.
Scheduling & Shows
How do I know which comics are on which shows?
The full festival schedule will be released the day of the festival. Shows run from 11am–12am each day, with overlapping sets, secret shows, and late-night madness.
Can I reserve a seat for specific shows?
No reservations—Skankfest is general admission.
Will shows be recorded or streamed?
There will be 12 live-streamed shows available through our new live-streaming partner, VEEPS. By entering the festival, you consent to appearing in recordings and photography.
Festival Experience
What is the Vendor Village?
Our Vendor Village is a hub for food, drinks, tattoos, merch, and partner activations. Expect everything from custom voodoo dolls to late-night goodies.
Is there re-entry?
Yes. Fest Passes are good for the entire weekend. Keep yours on at all times—lost passses will not be replaced.
Is Skankfest accessible?
Yes. We are committed to making the festival fully accessible. Details on ADA entry, seating, and accommodations can obtained by emailing [email protected]
Travel & Lodging
Where should I stay?
New Orleans has a wide range of hotels and Airbnbs. While our room blocks for guests and attendees are now fully committed, there are a number of Hotels near the convention center or a short Uber ride into the French Quarter.
How do I get to the venue?
Rideshare or walking are your best options. Parking will not be available on site, but the nearby convention center has ample parking.
Safety & Rules
What’s not allowed inside?
No outside food, drinks, recording devices or weapons. Bags may be searched upon entry.
Can I bring my camera?
No. No professional photography or video equipment is allowed without prior approval and only then with appropriate media credentials. Cell phones are fine, but please respect producer’s wishes if requested to lock devices or avoid recording.
Getting Involved
How do I perform at Skankfest?
We run an annual submission process where comics from around the world submit tapes. Submissions for 2025 are now closed. 2026 submissions will open in January and run for 6-8 weeks. Keep an eye out on social media for relevant announcements!

Volunteers are closed but we are currently looking for medics and drivers.
