Joe DeRosa
Joe DeRosa is an emerging force in the comedy scene. A Philadelphia native, DeRosa made his debut at Open Mic Night on a Wednesday at Philly’s Laff House. Within one year, DeRosa was a regular at the Laff House and all of the top clubs in the Philadelphia scene. Soon, DeRosa decided to make the leap to the New York comedy stage. He has done stand up spots on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly. DeRosa also landed a coveted spot on the New Faces showcase at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He is a regular on Robert Kelly’s You Know What Dude! podcast, Sirius XM’s The Opie & Anthony Show and Redeye on Fox News. Joe recently taped his first half- hour Comedy Central Presents special. He released his debut stand up album, The Depression Auction, through Comedy Central Records. Receiving strong reviews, he quickly followed it up with Return of the Son of the Depression Auction, his second stand up recording. A constant performer, DeRosa has traveled as part of national stand up comedy tours, including Dave Attell’s Insomniac tour and Dave Chappelle’s Block Party Tour. An accomplished writer and director, DeRosa has made numerous short films – including Cheat, which co-starred Robert Kelly and Bill Burr, and screened at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. He has written and directed a web series for Atom.com, while also co-hosting the popular Uninformed podcast with Bill Burr. DeRosa is a regular at all of the New York clubs, and continues to tour as a headliner across the country.
