Ashton Womack

Originally from Houston, TX, Ashton Womack started telling jokes at the ripe old age of sixteen. Fueled by the encouragement of his family and friends, he has gone on to establish himself as a powerhouse writer and performer around the nation. Currently working for Comedy Centrals “The Daily Show”, he can also be seen on hit tv shows like Alternatino, Vice Live and in the upcoming Paramount 2020 feature film Clifford. Prior to that, Ashton wrote for MTV’s TRL and was selected as a New Face in the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy festival in 2018, where he delivered an impressive performance in front of veritable entertainment industry leaders. Ashton has featured for Maria Bamford and tours colleges across the country. In 2014 he won Free Press Houston’s Best Comic award and in 2015 he won the title of Lafftown’s funniest. Ashton now lives in the comedy Mecca, New York City, where he continues to grow into one of the country’s best comics to watch! ​
