Nina Kharoufeh
NINA KHAROUFEH is an Arab-American Muslim stand-up comedian, author, and amateur boxer who quite literally wears her religion on her sleeve — well, her head. She’s worn a hijab since the age of 13 and never let it get in the way of being unapologetically herself, no matter the odds.
A graduate of Montclair State University’s College of the Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in Media, Nina discovered her passion for comedy and has since performed across the U.S. and internationally. Her stand-up draws heavily from her lived experience, exploring identity, faith, and the everyday absurdities of trying to live a “normal” life when the world has other plans.
Her debut children’s book, I’m a Princess Too, centers on a young Muslim girl navigating that same balance and is available wherever books are sold. Nina has been featured on The Food Network, TRT, and Al Jazeera, and previously hosted her own show on TLC. She has opened for comedians including D.L. Hughley, Godfrey, Bassem Youssef, and more.
